Gigantic Tickets delighted to welcome Simon Carpenter as CEO
& Joe Lilley as CTO – as founder Mark Gasson & James
Woodward move to chair
Gigantic Tickets is today delighted to announce an exciting future, as Simon Carpenter and Joe Lilley pick-up
the reins on the day-to-day running of the company, as CEO and CTO respectively. The board restructure see
founder Mark Gasson and CTO, James Woodward, move into the position of joint chairmen, with immediate
effect.
Simon Carpenter becomes CEO of Gigantic Tickets, with over nine years within Gigantic’s commercial team, as
part of his 15 years of wider ticketing experience – he joined the board as a director and co-CEO last
November, and today is announced as CEO.
The day-to-day running will be shared with Joe Lilley who moves into the role of CTO. Joe has been part
Gigantic’s core technical team for over 13 years, and moved to co-CTO last autumn. He will continue
developing and delivering cutting-edge technology.
This second wave of promotions signals the future of Gigantic’s evolution, as this primary ticketing company
continues to grow. The new leadership team brings incredible promise for the future, and Gigantic is proud to
be investing in its staff, whose talent and expertise have helped the business to flourish since its formation in
2007.
